Resin Bunny Sun-catcher Family/Child Class

Ages: All children (Gr 3 to grade 10) must attend with an adult to stay and assist due to the nature of resin. Children in grades 3 and up can attend with an adult helper. Children in grades 11-12 may attend without an adult helper, but should be prepared to drive or be picked up when they are finished-which may be before listed class time.

Create a charming bunny sun catcher that will look beautiful hanging in your window this spring! In this beginner-friendly class, we’ll work with UV resin—allowing your finished piece to cure quickly so you can take it home the very same day.

Choose from a variety of pre-made bunny shapes, flowers, stems, and leaves, then add sparkle and dimension with glitter and faux glass filler. We’ll layer the elements onto a clear plexiglass circle and finish it with a hanger, ready to display.

For safety and comfort, we recommend pulling long hair back—resin and loose hair are not a good mix!

Due to a limited number of UV lights, this event will feature a rolling start time. Most participants complete their project within 60–75 minutes. The studio will remain open until 7:30 PM to allow everyone ample time to finish.

Payment and registration: Each ticket is for 1 pair (1 child/1 adult) to make ONE sun catcher. If you would like to each make one please email Maureen @ artgirl1965@gmail.com to see if there are enough supplies and to pay additional fee. There are 6 pairs per start time (5 pm or 6:15 pm). Choose either Venmo or PayPal for your start time. If choosing Venmo, please Venmo $40 to @maureenmarksart immediately after registration. The profile pic is the business sign “Maureen Marks Art” and last 4 digits are 5263. Unpaid Venmo tickets will be cancelled.

Cancellations: There are no refunds, transfers or credits for cancelled tickets or no shows. I can provide materials for you to do at home if you miss class.
