Level up your marker game! Grades 3-7

Grades 3-7 (PLEASE ADHERE TO THE GRADE LEVELS-THE MARKERS ARE EXPENSIVE AND REQUIRE A LEVEL OF CARE THAT YOUNGER CHILDREN ARE NOT USUALLY CAPABLE OF)

This is a session of 2 classes.  All students signed up will attend BOTH classes on Sept 23 and Sept 30.

Does your child love using alcohol markers (such as Ohuhu or Copic) but wants to level up their game? Learn how to:

-create smooth blending

-use a range of values to create 3D effects

-layer gel pens

-use over watercolors

-layer with colored pencils

-create easy patterns

This is NOT a drawing class.  Students will choose from a wide variety of pre-drawn images so they can focus on marker work.  They will create a “cheat sheet” of the ways to use marker.  This will be a great resource for them going forward to help remind them of the techniques we used.  We’ll do a few techniques in each class and color at least 1 page per class.  By the end of the session they will have a completed practice “cheat sheet” as well as several finished colored images.  At the end of class each student will choose some more images to work on at home!  All the images will be printed on special marker paper.  I have over 300 colors of alcohol markers for the students to use, so they will have plenty of colors and shades of colors to use!

After sign up I will be sending some images for students to choose from the first class.  Please be on the lookout for it and respond ASAP!  I want to make sure I have everyone’s first choices printed and ready to go!

Payment:  Please choose either the PayPal/Credit ticket OR the Venmo ticket (preferred).  If choosing Venmo, please make sure you are prepared to log into your Venmo right after registration to pay the $55 for the 2 classes.  

Cancellation:  There is a $10 relisting fee for cancellations. Refunds (minus $10) for cancellations will be offered if notified 2 weeks prior to class.  After that there are no refunds for class, but you are welcome to come in to pick up the coloring sheets and practice sheet to do at home.
