Beginner Drawing and Painting-Wednesdays

Grades 2-5 as of 2021-22 School Year.  Perfect for siblings to do together!

This class runs back to back with Canvas and Clay so students can take both and have 2 hours of art if they wish! This class is offered on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.  To select the other class day please return to the calendar tab.

This is great for those who really need the starting skills to be better at drawing and painting.  Most drawings are a directed drawing format (teacher shows a step, students draw step, etc.). Lots of help is given individually to make adjustments to drawings.  Observation is emphasized as it’s the key to drawing!  Most projects will have color added to them with watercolor, colored pencil or markers.  

Class meets every other week, except in November.  We are closed for Thanksgiving on Nov 24 so the last class will be on Dec 1.

Payment:  You can use PayPal by clicking on your name, If you prefer to pay by VENMO, DO NOT SELECT YOUR NAME TICKET! Just select the $0 VENMO ticket and then search “Maureen Marks Art” to make your $105 payment.  You will see my business sign as the profile picture.  Payments not made the same day you register will result in the loss of your spot. 

Mask at your discretion. Miss Maureen is fully vaccinated and will not be wearing a mask to teach.

Cancellation Policy:  Any cancellation will result in a $20 fee.  No refunds, credits or transfers (minus the $20 fee) if notified Sept 1 or later.

Make Up Classes:  There are no make up classes, but there is a private FB group for each class where you can find project directions, teacher and student art, worksheets and directions.
